90 days is all it takes
Here’s the deal, everyone wants to know how to get in shape in 3 months but how many people do it? Who cares, this is about you.
Let’s start thinking about fitness by not worrying what other people are doing. You can easily do this. Thousands of people just like you overcame their fitness struggles.
Our goal here is to break down exactly what you need to do to lose weight fast (in 3 months) with no fluff.
Let’s get it.
You have the strength right now.
When talking about exercise, my close friends have said to me, “I know, I know. I just need to do it.” Then they say, [Enter excuse here, reasons why I’m too busy, dislike for working out, admitting to being lazy]. If you’re reading this and thinking “Dang, I am lazy.” or “I say the same things.” then that is a good start.
Personal responsibility and realizing no one else can get you into shape is seriously the best foundation for being healthy.
What is the most important step in accomplishing a goal? Defining it!
This is simple.
Any entrepreneur, personal trainer, athletic coach, or spiritual guru that is successful is going to talk about visualization. Defining a goal is not writing down “lose 15 lbs by X date.” Yes, it is a good idea to know a target body type you are aiming for. This will help you determine what type of exercise is most appropriate for you.
Fun fact, the best way to lose body fat is not long amounts of cardio. It is incorporating weight training, body weight exercising like calisthenics, and interval training cardio sessions. It is proven that lifting weights with proper form will improve your overall body composition.
Define your goal by writing down why you want to get in shape in 3 months. That timeframe is a great baseline to have realistic goals for your journey. Maybe you want to have more energy, feel refreshed, see more muscle definition, have the sex or gender you prefer to notice you more, or prove to yourself that you can do this. Our health is the most important thing, so that alone can be enough.
Think about being that person who is more in shape and the confidence you will have. This is the person you are working on becoming and it is already a part of your DNA. You are powerful enough right now to accomplish this with time.
If you want to put a pound or kilogram goal down of what to lose or gain you can do that too. However, know that you may not reach it because everyone’s body responds differently to weight loss and muscle gain. A big part of reaching your goal will be your sleep and nutrition as well. For now, let’s focus on the getting active part.
“Discipline is the ability to do what you do not want to do when the motivation to do it is gone.”
This is how it is done with no fluff.
Do you want the good news or bad news first? I hope good news because we are working on benefiting our life here.
The good news is you are going to get addicted to working out. I know that sounds weird but over your journey you will enrich your life by doing something difficult. Key ingredients of high-performance athletics are purpose, discipline, and gratitude. You will find purpose in bettering yourself physically. Whether the motivation is for you or to be a light for those around you. You will find discipline in sticking to a planned workout routine, which we will get to in the next section. You will find gratitude in realizing how capable you are and becoming what you had visualized in the beginning.
No one told me this growing up, but I discovered it on my own. I did my own research, experienced my own injuries, and had my own struggles. The difficult part is never anything to be concerned about.
There is not any bad news when you focus on the good.
The reality is, there may be a day or two where you’re not really feeling it. When you go anyway, it strengthens everything previously mentioned. It is why we work hard for a company, for family, for our significant other, for our children, for our pets. We hope to be someone worth appreciating. Sometimes it may feel a little bit more difficult than other times, but it really isn’t.
We become even better when we do the difficult things. That is why we do it. Take pride in that because you are capable.
Have a schedule because no one keeps you accountable in the real world.
I told you this was simple. We are literally at the last step. It was creating a goal and visualizing, reaping the rewards of doing difficult things that we’re capable of, and now having a schedule.
Why do you go to work? Because you have a schedule. Why do you trade when the market is open? Because it has a schedule. I won’t bore you with a million questions of why things happen, but it is almost always because of a schedule.
There is a process that occurs with a timeframe for all accomplishments.
Make it a priority to have a schedule of what the fitness routine looks like Sunday to Saturday, 7 days a week. Are you doing full body exercises 3-4 times a week? How about trying powerlifting 4 times a week while eating clean with two cheat days? Are you working on the other 2 things we talked about before, nutrition and sleep? It might be a good idea to plan out meals and have a time at night where you get ready for bed, so you aren’t miserable being sleep deprived your whole life.
Think about the people who don’t have the luxury of sleeping well with 2 jobs, family, and still reading this because they’re also working out. That’s a whole different breed and they will find their success it is the law of nature. It will take time and may be more difficult, but they will be better for it.
The schedule is very important.
RAAM! Nutrition Company will have an app developed for you to help with this. Once it is ready, you’ll find the link once it is published. Make sure to have a documented workout schedule and plan. Go to the gym with the exact workouts for that session in your notes or written down old school and follow it. You won’t have to waste any time thinking about what to do.
Have fun with it and keep building and adjusting your routine to maximize the goals you visualize.
Are you going to actually do it?
I truly hope so. If you take personal responsibility you will (we know no one likes that part so we save it for the end).
If this has been a good guide for you on how to get in shape in 3 months and actually do it then please share it. The next time your friend says they are really wanting to get healthy AND stop making excuses then it will be a good time to read this.
We also sell supplements that are benefit focused with no fluff that you might enjoy.
Keep grinding, know you are capable and leave a comment on this post if you have anything beneficial to help the next person. RAAM!
